So, Join Sam Haasenritter, RPT as he introduces what the pedagogy curriculum forgot to tell you.\u00a0 Sam, a highly skilled, concert technician, will begin the presentation with a piano teacher playing a piece on a freshly tuned piano for everyone to evaluate.\u00a0 Then, he will lecture and, at the same time, work on the piano\u2019s touch and tone.\u00a0 At the end of 45 minutes to an hour,\u00a0the same pianist will play the same piece on the same piano so that everyone can evaluate the before and after difference.\u00a0 This will give you an experiential understanding of what has been discussed and you will have seen in \u201creal-time\u201d how these changes were made.\u00a0 It is amazing to hear for yourself the difference that cannot be realized through tuning alone.\u00a0 As a piano educator, you will begin to understand what keeps students from tapping their full potential and, also, what enables you to teach more effectively.\u00a0 This is one presentation you don’t want to miss!\u00a0<\/p>\n
